Dominick the Donkey

Inspiration

I thought of doing Dominick the Donkey after hearing the song and showing it to my friend. My father introduced this song to me as it was very popular when he was growing up.  I decided to try to add animation to it.

Sketches

First I tried to sketch out what dominick the donkey would look like

Then I colored it in photoshop so the coloring would be uniform

Scheduling 

I realized I needed to be organized so I wrote down all the scenes I needed and the significant parts of the song, writing down where they ended and how many 8 counts each of them were. 

Cutting Back

When making it, I noticed that the song was too long for me to animate with enough time before christmas. So I had to cut out the verse about the dress and the shoes and cut the music so it flowed still
